I'm buying a big TV between 50"?
Answers: Warning: This is a warning you are not gonna acquire from the dealers or the manufacture. LCDs have massively fragile, very breakable PLASTIC screen. Screens because there are two. The "inner" blind of my 7 mos. old Sony Bravia 42" is broken. Broken by a 34 lb., 3year behind the times throwing an empty plastic cup. Plastic because it can be and it prevents the blind from being reflective. It also make them CHEAPER to make. No warranty, no repair. If you own children or children visit, do not buy LCDs.
Plasma enjoy a glass eyeshade like adjectives other TVs except LCDs. Both are cheap to operate depending on where you live: 3-41/2 cents/hour for plasma and 2-3 cent/hour for LCD.
Plasma is better 42" or larger and surrounded by dark rooms or basements and for viewing sports. Most plasma brands also own anti-glare coatings. When I can get another $2000 together I will take plasma.
Get LCD. They use only roughly speaking 1/3 the power of a plasma, and images don't burn into the peak as quickly.
I regret my 53 inch plasma.
okay you should attain the LCD cause my man know there the best i enjoy a LCD tv it works great and i had it for close to 2 years now. no problem beside it yet. worthy luck
