What do i do if my cable box is acting strange?

The Weird signs on the front tells me the microprocessor software could be bad..TRY unplugging the Cable box from power for 10 minutes, then plug it in...
IF it still is bad, call Time Warner and get another cable box..
Well you can always try disconnecting it from the light outlet to reset. Or youcan shove it up your.
You get a new company. It sounds like that company is crap.

What cable box? Brand, model name, what did you try? Try unplugging and replugging it, use different cables, reset the box. Maybe it can't split the connection?
Just return it to the cable company and they will give you a new, better one. Every few years I stick mine in the oven on 250 for 10 minutes just so I can get another one. It works great. This time get one with recording capabilities though. Best of luck!

You say you called the comapny. They need to fix it. There is absolutely nothing you can do to this other than pick up a new box or have one brought to you. That's it.
call Time Warner they will fix it for free its a bad box i loved joshes comment about the oven so he can get a new box i wonder if hes the first one in line to pitch a fit every year when his bill goes up
