Whats the best HD TV on the market?

for gaming you are looking at buying a plasma, there are only 2 ( that i know off ) that are 1080. Both made by hitachi.
the 9700 model is getting lots of top marks and reviews, 2 hdmi, ( and if you like your gagets ) has a moderised swivel.
all this for £999 ( shop price !!)
