Buying a used panasonic 50'' plasma tv?
Answer:
Get his ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT if you buy it.
NO RECIEPT, NO DEAL..
I'm just a little leary of a NEW TV that somebody is selling...
It's likely that it has in INTERMITTANT problem that the repairman cannot find the solution. One of the most popular intermittants is "It doesn't look right to me"
Well you NEVER owned one before.how do you THINK it's supposed to look?
"Better than this..."
Sounds like a scam. Anyways a new bulb for plasma cost over 1500.00 to replace every 4 years. Are you up to paying that every four years.
This is the exact TV that I own but I bought it new. This is an excellent HDTV. But I am wondering why he's selling it so cheap. It's probably past the manufacturers warranty. Ask if he bought an extended warranty. If so, then buy it. If not, then look it over very carefully. Look at the picture and see if anything looks hazy or burned pixels. Change video inputs to make sure it works and use the remote. Use the DVD player if one is connected and anything else that is connected. Look around the TV and check for dents & scratches. Look at the inputs and outputs carefully and make sure all pins are intact.
