I have a JVC HD-56FC97 and cant get audio. Help!!?

I've got it connected to my cable box with an HDMI cable. The video is fine, just no audio. I've only had the tv for a few days and was able to get sound at one time, so I'm pretty sure I've changed a setting somewhere that's causing this problem. Does anyone know how I can restore the factory settings?

Answer:
I would be looking at the cable box. If the TV's volume indicator is moving up and down, and there's no "muted", "ext" or similar indication, then the TV is probably okay. Make sure there's no internal/external speaker switch in the external position. Then get after the cable box and see if it has a volume or mute setting in the menu.
