Can someone tellme what 1080p/24 is?
Thanks!
Answers: You know it's FUNNY....DVD discs are designed to play 30 frames per second, all the same the manufacturerers TOUT the 1080P/24 frame TV sets as being the best....
And WHERE do you find DVDs that are record in 1080P/24 frame?
First, they are NOT record that way....
Second, converting from 30 frames to 24 frames doesn't smooth out the picture resembling they want you to believe....
Third, while manufacturers are gearing up for the POSSIBILITY of Direct 24 frame recordings from MOVIE Films, you own to understand that FILM have NOT BEEN USED IN OVER 17 years !!
So....you like Gone next to the Wind perhaps? If the owners of that movie resolve to RE -- Record that movie onto a 1080P/24 DVD disc, you might actually see that technology put to GOOD USE.....
But I suspect they won't re-invest adjectives that money to do it......
that would be 24 frames per second or 24fps. That is what a movie is filmed surrounded by, as opposed to regular TV which is 30fps.
So if you keep watch on a lot of movies, that TV may not be for you, but i don't know how reliable your review source is.
