How do I fix a scratched DVD?
Answer:
Target, and I'm sure other places have them too, has repair kits. In the meantime, try wiping it with a microfiber cloth wet with rubbing alcohol. Don't use a paper towel or anything that gives off lint.
if you got money, buy a new one. sorry, but i think that's the only way. :(
My video Store buffs them for a minimal fee if the DVD isn't theirs, yours might as well. Or you can buy a DVD buffer, but I hope I never have enough scratched DVDs to make it worth the investment.
well, you can't really do anything, though you could try with some alcohol... but you will probably still have to get rid of it... :( sorry
try rubbing it out with the CD cloth u get at the music store. It comes with a solution too that u spray on.
if blowing on it or wiping it doesn't help, nothing will
Dawn dish washing liquid if that don't work oh well.
Polish the DVD with toothpaste!
I know it sounds crazy but it actually works.
put water , then soap , then water to clean the soap and then dry it up with the towel or just ask ur father.
Put it in the freezer for about 4 hours then gently wipe it down, another thing that has worked for me was when I burned a copy of the same C.D the copied version come's out perfectly new. Honest.
You can try and polish it over using toothpaste or
You can use software like DVD X - Rescue to get a new backup (which I found to be the better solution - simply because you get backup of all the stuff on a new unscratched DVD)
my sister uses hairspray and a cd cloth. just spray it on and wipe it off.
buying a new one..
