What is the difference contained by pictographic trait between DVD and HD?

I can't see the difference..

Answers:    About 3-5 times more information with a HD nurture than a DVD.

A DVD is sharp and clear. But true HD - well, on a close-up, you can see the weighing up of the stage lights in an actor eyes.

DVD's are still based on the 1940's tube standard designed for a 9-inch tube (in black and white). This is called 480i.
If you are watching on a TV that isn't HD you won't see a difference.
