Whats better,plasma or lcd tv's?

However the best 'rule of thumb' piece of advise I be ever given on this matter be - Anything up to 37" screen LCD rules
Anything over Plasma comes into it's own.

LCD...doesnt plasma call for to be re gassed or something?
