Which TV is better? Plasma or LCD?

Lighting:
LCD TV are brighter than Plasmas. They use a technology that pushing light through the peak toward you.
Plasmas have better black level because they don't push light throught the peak, the glow from the plasma phosphers. If you survey in a dimly lit room or plan to keep watch on mostly at night righteous name brand plasma are the best.
Good brands include: Panasonic & Pioneer
Advantage: Depends on your viewing habbits.
Action:
LCD own a slight lag compaired to Plasma. If you survey sports or play video games stay away from cheap LCD you will be disapointed. Good brands for LCD are Sharp, Sony, Toshiba in no specific charge.
Plasma don't have line.
Advantage: Plasma
Resolution:
While there are a few Plasma top brands next to 1920x1080P (over 2 million pixels) resolution they are more expensive than a the top LCD brands with impossible to tell apart resolution.
Advantage: LCD there are more band with 1920x1080P most Plasma television are 1024x768 (786K pixels)
The differnce between the two resolutions is dramatic if you watch 1080P source bits and pieces like blu-ray discs.
For most poeople the best explosion for your buck with the best picture is going to be LCD if you grasp a 1080P model. In getting a 1080P model you will be happy near the picture for years to come while a 720P a few years down the line you're going to aspiration you got the sophisticated resolution.

Stay away from any plasma tv or lcd tv "buying guide" if you make out most of them are fake, provide biased opinion by sending you to sites they also own and recommend products they carry over better level product. I've also seen them construct up bad reviews products they don't get only because they don't get them.
When I went to Best Buy to discuss like peas in a pod issue the guy told me LCD was better. He plainly had specific information to put money on up his opinion but inopportunely, I can't remember exactly what he said. I do know that he said to go for LCD over Plasma. Sorry I couldn't be more accommodating :)
