Which one will be the max you can bring from a 20'' TV beside local 1680x1050 resolution, 480 or 720 or 1080 ?

Please specify it is ganna be 720i or 720p or 1080i or 1080p

Answers:    You're ACTUALLY going to see a 1050 display from all video sources....

480 will look for a while blotchy/low detailed, but the 720 and 1080 signals will look nice and sharp....

1080P can occur near HDMI and Component connections, but your TV has to enjoy the circuitry to give you 1080P processing....so if it's a recent model it probable can process 1080P.....But ALL TVS process 480, 720 and 1080i signals....
The TV will be able to switch a maximum of 720p as long as the TV is HD ready.
To be HD set it will need 720 as a minimum resolution, own at least one HDMI nouns and a Component connection.
