My 32" LCD TV has dark pixel rows - can I repair this?
Answer:
Dead pixel is permanent damage and will always in your screen no matter you are playing games or just watching TV. In your case I believe is not dead pixel, something more related to the scanning process. For sure you must contact your TV support center, or you can try different cable connection like component for example.
These are called 'dead pixels' and are not that unusual. Don't know if they can be fixed.
They are called dead pixels and are caused by a failure of the actual LDC cells in the dark places.
They'll be present at all times but you notice them when playing games because the games console demands more from your tv screen than ordinary programmes do. Watch a test card and you'll see them.
You cannot repair them at all. The only cure is a new screen.
It is unusual to have dead pixels in any kind of formation, they normally appear randomly, (i have two pixels that appear white).
Did you know that gaming isnt good for your LCD screen, playing the same game for several hours could cause screenburn. Which occurs when a still image, or part image, is burned onto the screen after prolonged exposure.
Not sure if it still happens with short spells of gaming, i just don't risk it.
maybe.
