TV digital changeover?

My mum and da live in a small stuck up village surrounded by really tall trees.
They cant get any Sky or Freeview signals (they have tried) and dont have cable as the villagers wont allow the roads to be dug up. What will they do when the changeover happens?

Answer:
Does that mean they get no TV at all? Or do they receive off-the air signals from a broadcast TV station? If it is the latter, the station will convert to digital broadcast on or before Feb 17, 2009. If they can get reception now, they can still get TV, but they will need to get a receiver box that will pick up the new signals and convert them so that their TV can show them. The gov't is supposed to provide vouchers to help pay for those receivers.
Can you ask the council or get someone to cut down the tree in your area. Try that and good luck.

They'll just curl up in a fetal position.
