My Goodman’s LCD TV kept switching off by its own?

I wanted to bring it back and have an exchange or a refund, but one of the staff kept on making excuses and I left it in the shop for a few hours (he said that he refund it if the problem happened in the shop) we came back and nothing happened. I brought the TV back home and a few days later it happened again and they still won’t refund it! If the problem don’t happen in the shop then im never going to get a replacement/refund, what should I do. What happened to customers Right!!!

Answer:
Please check the condition when it happens, maybe your electric power is not good.
Or it's very rare to happen case.
is your house haunted? lol
Contact trading standards, get the them to deal with it on your behalf.
Did you buy it from pcworld by any chance?
Call Yvette and the Most Haunted team quick !!
Firstly contact their head office and explain the problem and the unhelpfulness of their staff, if that fails contact trading standards, everything you purchase, must be fit for purpose obviously this TV isnt.

Good luck
The processor knackered. Go back and demand to see the manager. This what happens when there is problem with the processor the fault is not consistent. They (the shop) are playing a waiting game because after so many days something like 28 days you will not get a full exchange but they will offer you a repair under the terms of your guarantee.

Get down to the citizens advice bureau and get advice from trading standards.

Good luck don't give up the bank on people getting fed up.
i have one and sometimes ours goes off for a couple of seconds then comes back on, i often wonder what up. its been like that for over 2 years now. if yours is worse than mine and goes of for longer then oviously you need an exchange or refund, get there head office address, its sometimes on the back of the reciept, but they have to give you the head office address, has soon has you ask for it. good luck, once you contact head office they will refund straight away.
Insist on your consumer rights and tell them you are not satisfied with their equipment and want either an exchange or your monety back. Don't let them fob you off
Let them watch the TV until it acts up, thats the only way.
if you have only had tv a couple of weeks or less insist on refund otherwise contact trading standards for advice.
Thats happened to mine recently!! If you get the answer, please email it to me
Get advice from Fair Trading Standards, also contact the manufacturer's customer services, good luck. Bubble the shop you brought it from, if all else fails contact the press.
send it back make them replace it and tell them that you didn't pay a part time TV
Firstly you don't say whether you brought this from an electrical chain or just a small retail outlet not that you're rights are any different but there are more routes to go down with a larger retailer usually under 28 days you have the right to an exchange over 28days they have the right to have it inspected by an engineer take it back to the shop and ask for it to be looked at by a QUALIFIED engineer telling them its an ittermittent fault also you don't say how big the tv is if it's lg like 32" the shop should have a call out service unless they're an independant retailer try calling the customer service dept and see if you can get a home call you might get more sense out of an engineer
