52 " Plasma TV?

I heard that all plasma screens are manufatured by two companies. I am looking for an off brand that had great options and low price point w/ high quality.

Answer:
Plasma TVs aren't the best investments. In light, the picture is difficult to see. Also, as it ages (over about 10 years), the plasma dims and eventually you'll need a new TV. Go with a standard High-Definition.
You are correct, there are 3 big plasma panel manufacturers: LG, Samsung, and Matsushita (panasonic).

You may want to consider HP or Philips; not as pricy as the top-tier brands, but with a good reputation, good reviews, and solid support.
