CBS HDTV problem?
I tried every angle next to the antenna and the channel query never finds it. How can i find 2.1 (CBS) without have to configure all the other channel again
I live in Chicago, and where on earth I live there are no high buildings in my means of access
Can anybody give some suggestions and not in recent times give me a website.
Answers: All of the digital TV within Chicago is on UHF frequencies, except CBS. CBS digital is on VHF channel 3. There's the difference. Your antenna is doing a upright job near UHF, but a bad opportunity with VHF. You have need of an antenna that will properly cover VHF and UHF. In most parts of the US, all digital is on UHF, so the antenna designers aren't paying much attention to VHF. BTW, there's no such point as a digital antenna. The antennas that people own been using for years are without a flaw fine since they cover both UHF and VHF, unless you're in a fringe nouns, in which you basically need a better variation of the old "analog" antenna.
Stations broadcast both the HD and non-HD signal on like towers, so if you aren't getting CBS in clearly to fire up with, you enjoy no chance of getting CBS HD.
Also, HD is not alike as digital. All HD channels are digital, but contained by 2010, all channel will be digital - but NOT HD. This is the same setup that Cable uses when they natter about "Digital Cable" - this does not propose all your stations are within HD - in certainty, you have to purchase the HD channel IN ADDITION TO the digital cable package.
