IS something out there that you hang on your plasma that will take the signal for the cable box in the wall?

My tv is above the fireplace and I need to put the cable box behind the wall. Timewarner told me there is something that will hang from the tv or a remote extender that will take the signal from the remote. Anyone know of a good one or where i can find one quick. Wifey doesnt want the cable box on the mantle.
