Do the up to date LCD and plasma T.V.s use smaller quantity or more electricity to use than the behind the times CRTs?




Answers:    A LITTLE LESS...not much.

You do have to remember the BACKLIGHT does require power to illuminate....

And you commonly don't use it while it's in STANDBY mode...
So, 45 watts compared to 65....that doesn't nouns like much, but if EVERYONE save 20 watts.....What a Wonderful World this would Be....
