Sometimes when I switch the input on my remote to watch a DVD, adjectives I hear is sound and carry a blue screen. Other times, my blind flashes blue while watching a DVD. It's on and off. This simply started happening just now, where it worked fine for years. I switched out the cable. I tried hooking it up to my DVR, my VCR and also directly to the TV. Same thing happen. I even bought a new DVD player... same point happens still! I study like 1 DVD a month in a minute from Netflix because of this. Any ideas? Could this be the TV? I hope not.
Answers: First did you in reality swap cables beside another NEW set of cables?
AND you stated you still see like peas in a pod problem on more than one device....
That's either a desperate CABLE or the TV has a BAD CONNECTOR....
Soldering unanimously works as long as you don't let it stay bleak too long...the longer you wait, the worse it get....
And then Christmas rolls around, you win 10 DVDs you're just DYING TO WATCH and....Ohhh Crap, you've get to watch it contained by Blinky Blue-O-Vision.....
Call a local TV repairman...let him see it....

If you changed the dvd disk, cables and the dvd player that single leaves 1 thing that could be the problem, the TV.
Is in attendance more than one input on the TV? Maybe you could swich from using S-Video socket to using a different input.
If your AV connection is correct the your TV is the problem
