The Noise a TV make when zilch is on it...?

It's a rather strange examine, but my boyfriend is calling me crazy because of it. When the TV is on, and on like a blank eyeshade, or the sound is turned adjectives the way down. Does anyone else hear the dignified pitched noise it make? Is that electricity? The pitch changes when the lights on the eyeshade change, approaching black will have the unmatched pitch, while a white screen have a lower pitch...

Howcome I can hear it and my boyfriend can't?
Am I crazy and imagining it, or is at hand really a noise within?


Answers:    If you're talking around a CRT TV, there is an oscillator whose frequency is up essential the limit of Human audible range. The electrical oscillation can cause a shaking in the components used which can be hear by some people, and not others.
I can hear it and my mother can't. I've walk into their house, and the way their electronic and cable system is set up it's possible to turn the cable stale and sometimes miss turning the tv off. The peak will be blank and it will appear to be off. I've repeatedly turned their tv off from such a eyeshade and neither of my parents understand how I know it's on. There is a clap there, but I'm guessing with the sole purpose some people can hear it. I don't know what cause it and I don't know why only some population can hear it, but you're not crazy.
