A pg&e transformer broke and the 2 tv's began to smoke..we pulled the power plugs--haven't have the nerve to plug them hindmost in nonetheless. Are these tv's gone for good? My microwave blew up too and it is completely gone. I'm of late wondering if this has happen to anyone and if we should just throw them away...thank you for any minister to!
Answers: If a failure at PG&E cause this, you should be able to put surrounded by a claim for the damages. You also may be covered under homeowner's insurance. Don't throw them out until you're sure you own no way to collect. I have a lightning strike that blew out a pile of stuff. it was adjectives covered by my insurance.
Any kind of smoke coming out of any electronic device is not dutiful. If you plug it back surrounded by it might work but I wouldn't trust it, its bound to give out or worse motive a fire hazard.
