What is the best type of coaxial cable to use for digital tv i live in a medium to strong signal area?

ive bought myself a hi gain 10 element aerial for the roof and i will need to send any coaxial cable at least 20 meters before the tv

Answer:
RG 6 cable is the DEFACTO standard used nowadays.

RG59 is becoming scarce.because it is a little more Lossy.
Collar you local ntl/telewest/virgin cable installer next time you see one of their vans kicking about, ask him to run off about 25 meters of RG6 for you, couple of quid, job done!
Use RG-6 coax cable with Copper Clad steel conductor, swept tested to 3 GHz, 60% Aluminum Braiding, 100% Shielded. If you are in a real strong signal area get Quad
shield cable. Use high quality compression type connectors on the end of the cable.
Over a 20m run the loss will be considerable, less than half the signal makes it to the back of the TV
Satalite Cable is the best stuff as it has the lowest loss. Buy the best you can find, it's only a little more cost.
