Any advice apreciated Thanks
Answer:
To receive free view you need a k type outside ariel but go to your local tv shop and ask, i think you might be able to get one for in doors now.
i have freeview in bedroom and it works pefectly fine with an indoor antenna
you can receive free view from an indoor areal
if your TV works well with one
You can put them in the loft(normal aerials) and if yours is high enough then I cant see why you shouldnt get freeview.
Try cable tv u wont need a dish for that .

freeview should work fine with your indoor areial if youve a good reception on your tv, but you could always have an outdoor arial in your loft space
I had this problem when I lived in Nottingham. The flats I lived in were fitted with cable supplied by NTL. When a flat became empty, they switched off the signal so other flats in the surrounding area could work. Very underhand and very wrong. I gave up and went for BT TV, but before they could install it, I moved.
I did find a portable SKY dish available through MAKRO. It cost £59.99 and was meant for caravans. I can see no reason why that should not work, it would depend on the reception.
A good quality indoor aerial should be fine. My mother in law uses one, and she gets a great signal. Make sure any aerial you buy has an attached signal booster, just to be on the safe side.
