Have flat screen and virgin media box?

looks like it's curving on left and right any idea how to fix?

Answer:
I've never heard of "curving" on a flat screen... it's virtually impossible. Stretching, perhaps. If you're trying to get a 4:3 aspect ratio picture (old format TV) to fit a 16:9 ratio (newer HD format TV) screen, manyTVs use a stretching algorithm to make the picture fit without blank bars on either side. This is the only thing I can think of that comes close to fitting your description. Try different screen width settings in your TV menu. Or better yet, when you find out that my hypothesis is correct, accept it as norm.
you have an east/west fault if you are talking about the picture.
if your tv is crt type the parts are minimal but the expertise will cost you.
if its a flat panel type tv then module may have to be replaced.
