Measuring TV blind?

To measure a tv peak, do I measure from the corners of the eyeshade (not including frame) diagonally?

Also, what is a decent breadth (for the lounge...LCD or the older versions)...not really gigantic or small any.

Where can I buy a new TV around Sydney? (besides harvey norman, domayne, bing lee, biddable guys?)

Answers:    measure the corners of the sscreen (diagonally from one vertix to another) lacking the frame
yes you measure diagonally as you said, and I'd regard as 32" and up is a good size. LCD is better than Plasma surrounded by my opinion, but that's a moral size.
