i had a old CRT TV goldstar.. it has a power ON but no displays and the key buttons were mulfunction except from power button. no audio and the video is raster only.. i suspected the IC system and the jungle IC... help please!

My old sensei once told me if you want to check TV system con/micon still working or not, try to switch from on to standby or the otherwise using the remote, if it is still working than the syscon IC is fine.
Jungle IC when it is defect usually you'll see scramble picture in the screen .
Is this problem also occur from the AV input
