HD ready/built-in?

what is the difference? do i need to buy something special to connect a cable box to any one of them?

Answers:    They are talking almost your ability to receive HDTV from an antenna transmitting ATSC box signals from your local broadcaster. If you have cable or satellite you won't call for an HDTV tuner built in, but you will necessitate a settop box.

So, built in: Has ATSC tuner, no box required for antenna. Needs box for cable or satellite.
Ready: Can adopt an HDTV signal from cable, satellite or antenna, but all require a box.
achieve built in. hd all set is not real hd. and i also reccommend 1080p.
