We own a JVC flat peak TV. I turned it on to find no picture, but nouns.?

The other cable boxes and TVs in the house are working? Do you regard it is a blown bulb or a wire problem?

PS The dvd player does work next to picture and sound. I am thinking it is not a bulb issue.

Any tv experts...please comfort.

Thank you!

Answers:    Make sure your video cables are connected at both ends. They seldom walk bad unless you bought the cheap online cable.

Cable boxes are computers without cooling fan. Remember the Windows blue screen of passing? That happens to cable boxes too, except no blue peak. Try removing the cable box's power cord from the wall or the back of the box, continue 30 seconds and plug it rear in.

A cable box reboot solves this problem nine times out of ten. The remaining time requires outside assistance. You can clutch that cable box to another room and see what happens to isolate whether it's a cable box problem or a TV problem.

Hope that help!
