There is a 2" blue line sticking out on the side of my 51" toshiba projection tv. Any ideas??

Answer:
NEED more information...

IS it a CRT projection? LCD? DLP?

Does the 2 inch line go from the top to the bottom of the picture?
Or does it "Stick out" 2 inches from the left side or the right side and is a single thickness?

Do you get a "whole picture" showing? Or just a 2 inch band in the middle?

You have several possibilities..
With a whole picture present a 2 inch line could be a dry cap, or possibly the screens need readjustment.

If you only have a 2 inch line and NO picture, your vertical or horizontal circuit may have to be repaired.
