Is there a remedy to keep rain from faking the satellite signal out? It is so adnoring when watching a good program! I feel Dish Network and Direct TV ought to work on resolving this problem, dont you?
Answer:
This is God calling.."Can you hear me now?" Good...
Dish and Direct can't hold a candle to him.
your only remedy is to have the dish aligned in order to achieve the BEST possible signal. However the system is still subseptable to rain fade, just won't happen as easily.
Definitely, align your dish for the best signal strength or use a bigger dish. Instead of an 18" dish you may have to go to a 24" or bigger if your rain fade is really bad.
