So we bought a bright clicked and tryed and tryed and tryed to program it with this tv but it wouldnt work, so we get a nother clicker and had no luck, within total we have tryed to program almost 3 clickers beside this tv and none have be succesfull why? I have enter the code for dvd and vhs tv combo's and all three of the remotes be different companies that I tried..
Answers: How do you know the remote died and not the sensor circuit in the TV?
Why don't you try to contact Sylvania and see if they enjoy the remote that originally came next to the set, and if they do not, maybe they can recommend a remote that will work near the set.
It seems more logical than blowing a bunch of money on different remotes trying to draw from them to work.
You could buy an "exact" replacement remote control for your particular model of TV. If you use the google go through below you will find companies that sell them.
Also, oodles times a non-working remote control can be brought back to life span. See the second link below for an example.
Can you manually turn it on? If so afterwards something is wrong in the IR reciever circuit.
If you cant turn it on manually consequently throw it away and buy a new one.
