Answers:    All Univ. remotes have a function whereby if you can't find the numerical code to program the remote to a device next you can use the "search" 'mode. This usually involves getting the remote into the "learn" mode and then using the Up/Down key they assign to "search" the spectrum until the remote "takes" to the new device.
Check your almanac to find this functionality.
