Tv remote went through wash. any chance of it working again?
Answer:
Yep
As with most electronic things it amazing how resilient they are - stick it somewhere warm for a period of time (not the oven) and there is a sporting chance that it will work.
Our dog stole 4 remotes during his puppyhood and we found one, 4 months later, buried in the garden. Against all odds after a quick wipedown with a wet cloth and a night on top of a radiator it worked a treat - did not even have to renew the batteries!
nope
Why don't you try using it (with fresh batteries, of course)? If not, go out and buy a new one. Good luck.
no
You never know til you try! dry it out overnight and give it a go. if it doesn't got get a new one. they're not too expensive.
open it up...guts n all
shove it in the airing cupboard & hope 4 de best
Nope

naa...
put it in the tumble drier (on cool, obviously)
If this doesn't work, it is because it is out of synch with the TV- put the TV through the wash too
I dont think so but it is worth a try. change the batteries first and the remote dry .
not a chance sorry.
Change the batteries and give it a try. Contact manufacturer's customer service/retailers for advice.
The chances are remote (groan). Take it to bits carefully. If there is any obvious moisture mop it out with tissue. Leave the bits in a warm dry place such as the airing cupboard for 24hrs or so. Don't try and speed things up with a hair dryer.Idealy, give it a good spray with an electrical contact cleaner such as isopropyl alchohol (not Electrolube). Re-assemble, insert new batteries and cross your fingers. 50-50 chance of it working again.
Unlikely - but only because I suspect the batteries were still in.
If they were not, just dissassemble, wash thoroughly in clean water and let completely dry.
Alas the power is likely to have cause corrosion when the soapy water started to bridge the tracks on the board - and more specifically around the pins on the IC.
You could still try dissasembleing, use something like an old toothbrush to gently scrub away at the PCB and around the components - then rinse off in plain water (or methylate spirits if you have some) and then let air dry completely.
Insert fresh batteries and give it a go.

No chance!!
