A Grundig TV-T51 640OIRG I can not-suddenly -open it as it is locked by sleep timer and I can not enter number

The Tv worked until last night when I put it to sleep.Today is locked

This TV's Chassis type is the Grundig CUC6300

This Chassis has a Known fault With the sleep timer corrupting The sets EEPROM

Is This The Full Fault ?

Sleep timer box shown on screen.
Remote and front Buttons not Working.

If so EEPROM IC847(24C04) is corrupt and will need replacing or reprogramming.

Shouldn't be too expensive
If it is under guarantee or not contact manufacturer/retailer for advice.
try different combinations of holding 2 buttons in together at the point of turning tv on.
this sort of thing happens with old decca tvs.
it may work.
