How good are Toshiba LCD's?

Got a smoking good deal on a 1080p 42 inch toshiba.
I understand LG makes toshibas screens.
Safe bet?

LG and Samsung are the two biggies when it comes to LCD displays. LG dominates the larger (over 37") LCD market, so I would agree. If it were under 40", in all likelyhood, it would be a Samsung display. Toshiba has been a pretty good brand, historically, so I think you'll be happy with it.
