i had a v+ fitted yesterday and i have a sharp aquos 42 lcd i put in hdmi cable went through settind ect and i got the corner screen you get with ntl virgin and when i pressed tv it went blank am i right in saying i should be able to run my box to tv on hdmi cable even if the signal isnt always a hdmi type as i dont want the scart and then just use the hdmi when it has a signal or do you think it is a virgin fault many thanks
Answer:
ok,
if you are using hdmi cable ( and only this cable, as i'm not 100% sure what you are trying to do ).
Then on your tv, it will come up hdmi 1 / hdmi 2 input. Your v+ should be in hdmi 1. This will give you pitcure and sound.
As long as both ends of the hdmi are connected then you should have no issuses.
If you are still having them connect virgin
Hope this helps wg
