my TV signal seemed to lose stength but has now returned after two weeks I do not think it is weather related any ideas if sombody has been adjusting our transmiter

Could be an event that happens twice a year, spring & fall.I think it's called solar fade. This is when the sun is directly behind the satelite you are watching. You will go from strong signal to almost nil. Usually lasts about 15-20 mins. for about a week or so & usually in the afternoon.
