need help setting up 2 HDTVs using 1 Motorola Comcast HD box. is this possible? If so, what would the easiest / best way be? right now, the 42" samsung plasma is hooked up to the HD box via component cables. i purchased a 15" LCD HD-built-in Insignia TV that is located very close to the main box. how do i get HDTV without getting a separate box? any suggestions would be appreciated!! Thanks!!
Answer:
Actually, that's pretty easy to do. All you need is a component distribution amp like the Calrad p/n 40-844M along with the necessary cabling. It's a 1 in 4 out unit, but that's the best I can think of in the time alotted. Your Comcast/Motorola box may have another (HDMI or DVI) output which could go to your Insignia if it has the right input connection available.

you have to have a dual tuner box in order to watch two different channels at the same time, otherwise you would only be able to watch the same thing on both tv's.
