Screen blacksout on Samsung HL-R5656W?

Was wondering if anyone knew why the eyeshade would turn itselfs off and going on for 5-20mins come back on again as if nil happened. How unyielding would it be to fix and what would be a rough estimate.


Answers:    It all depends on what it is.....

LCD? Power supply or Drive boards, possibly balancers if they want them.
Roughly $500....

DLP? Lamp, Ballast, Possibly the Digital Board....OR if you're LUCKY it could be the door switch for your LAMP is improperly positioned...$100 to $700.
THIS ONE I HAVE SEEN BEFORE, and God, you hope this is a DLP made contained by the last 2 years...Because that FITS your problem faultlessly....

Of course you could have a CRT Projection TV set and adjectives you need is to remove the coolant sour the board and install the anti-drip kit...but if you keep hold of running it, it will BLOW PARTS and might damage the board.....$250 up to $750 if you wounded one board.

THEN you're F****d. The longer you wait, the MORE you are....
