Any ideas how you can connect a Freeview box to a TV without a Scart Socket?

Have got a box for my main TV but want to get the extra channels in my bedroom on the portable. When they first came out I remember some boxes had this facility.

Answer:
Either connect with an Aerial lead or use a scart to composite converter lead available just about anywhere converts scart to Video and stereo audio left and right.
Quick and dirty method is to plug it into a vcr and use the vcr UHF output for the portable.
from the freeview box to tv , just use the normal airel cable ( from wall to freeview, freeview to tv ).

If you are feeling like pushing the boat out, get a scart to rf modulator ( maplins etc sell them round £15-£20) so this will allow you to go from the scart freeview to your tv.

hope this helps wg
You should be able to manually tune your tv to your freeveiw box
as you would a vcr.
