i have a hitachi tv, the other day i kept pushing lots of buttons.. now the menu wont come off my TV. it keep cyling from contrast, tv timer, picture and picture, and all kinds of other crazy stuff. it wont stop either it just keeps going. i tried hitting exit but nothing is working! its driving me nuts! do any of you know what i can do to fix the prob?? exit wont help, i dont know what else to try

Sounds like one of the buttons is stuck or the switch behind it is bad. There should be a distinct movement back out after depressing each button on the control panel. If one (probably the menu button) is staying in, that's likely your problem. Or it could be you've spilled something down the front and it's shorting out one of the little switches behind the button.
Neither the remote keep sending the signal or the TV malfunction. But moss of the case is the remote try to remove the remote battery or point the remote to different way to determine which one is having problem.
