Got a 42" plasma with a problem?
Answer:
Could be noise being injected into the cable. I highly doubt its the TV.
Check your cables make sure their tight.
ya take it to ur mom
sounds like it more be more of a signal thing than the t.v..we just got one too and I have to say I am less than delighted..it supposedly has surrond sound built in and the sound always sounds crappy and the thing is making me blind I sware to gawd.not a big fan after all these bucks.kinda sucks..
Can you verify if it happens only while watching tv, or only while watching a dvd? If it happens only during one or the other, or if it happens no matter what, will make a big difference in getting help. Odds are, however, that it is a bad cable.
I would turn the T.V. in for warranty work. I have seen a lot of these problems with LCD T.V.'s. It is more than likely the vertical hold failing. I would take it to the place of purchase for repair before the warranty goes out. Then I would sale it and buy a DLP or DLE T.V. I recommend one of the Toshiba DLP models. They are serviced all at best buy, Sears, and Circuit city stores and Toshiba strongly stands behind there product.
Ok try unplugging the cable from the back of the TV, and see if anything is going on. If there aren't any lines, then you should replace your box and/or home wiring. If it is still displaying lines, then you might have a defective PDP or Video Processor.
