What is the best flat screen TV to buy, and what is the best price for one. There is so many now.?
Answer:
I bought a Generic 42" Plasma TV and it came WITHOUT a TV Tuner, so I couldnt really watch antenna television without a VCR hooked up. Soon after I found out that the Plasma gas eventually seeps out from the television and the picture tends to darken. Generic Plasma last (30,000 hours?) 5 years I think, and brand name plasma (60,000 hours?) 10 years. Depending on how many hours you watch per day. I'm not a fan of DLP (Digital Light Projection) or the old fashioned boxy Projection big screen. I haven't done enough research on LCD TV's, but I have read about people returning their plasma for an LCD because of the lifespan. I don't believe I will actually watch my TV for 30,000 hours in 5 years. Next time I buy a Plasma I will make sure that I do buy a Brand name besides Phillips or Magnavox.
