Tips on wall mounting a lcd tele?
Answer:
1. make sure you are using a TV bracket, not just screws in the wall.
2. make sure its in the studs with heavy bolts.
3. if no clue, many professionals can install this for fee
4. nice trick for wires if handy...hole saw a small hole into wall behind TV, get plastic ring meant for hole in computer desk and mount in drilled hole. Repeat at base of wall. Fish lines through holes so out of site (or run down into basement and back up where you want them).
5. Can buy simple track to click onto wall to hide wires as well, paint to match wall.
6. height, depends on location, item used to view from, etc, personal choice. just keep out of sun so no glare.
7. since only a 32", they do make swing boom arms so the TV can be angled any direction, even pulled out few feet.
As above but - when mounting ensure that the TV is at normal seated height vision level - i.e. Sit on your fave chair or sofa and visualize a point on the wall - mount it there so that the screen is at eye level -
