For the Digital T.V. switch contained by 2009, if i buy a brand tentative T.V. will I own to return with a special antenna to?

If I buy brand new box sometime between now and the switch, do I a short time ago plug the tv into an outlet and reviece local broadcasts, or do I still need another antenna?

You need an antenna, but if your current antenna give you a good analog reception, it should be OK.

Digital and analog TV broadcasts use like peas in a pod antennas.

Some people will requirement better antennas but the idea that in that are special "HD antennas" is just marketing hype.
