IS a tv affected by video games systems?

?

Answer:
do you mean like can you ruin a tv by playing a video game system on it? Depends on the age of the tv I know old big screen projection tv's even as new as the late 2003's could burn the picture on the screen if you didn't get the filter for the tv. So yes you can ruin a tv playing video games on it but most new tv's play them just fine. I have my Xbox 360 hooked up to my 56 inch widescreen projection tv that I just bought last October. I have no problems playing it at high def at 1080i res without a filter.
Certain tv's are affected by video game systems. Projection tv's are. I know that for sure, but a regular tv doesn't have any problems with them.
Unless the TV's ancient, or you have a hi def tv with no burn in protection (burn in results from the same bright object in the same place over a period of time). Burn in's are permanant, so even when you're watching TV, you'll see what has been "burned in". Think ammo / health bar.
If its a TV thats less than a few years old, I highly doubt it. The TVs that would get messed up would be plasmas or projection TV's. I know LCD's, DLP's, CRT's, or LCoS's won't for sure.
