HD TV Sets are capable of display resolutions that far exceed the current technical capabilities of both DVD Players and Digital Transmission. At the moment the common Resolutions are 720p (progressive scan) and 1080i (interlaced) These are supported by Sky and HD DVD/ Blue-ray Players. Digital Terrestrial Cannot handle these Resolutions due to bandwidth restrictions. If the Government gets its way, the future will not include Terrestrial "High Definition". This is because they are planning to sell off the Analogue Bandwidth to the Highest bidders and the likes of Free View cannot afford to enter the race.

This is crazy! Sony definitely does not have the best picture out there. If price is not an issue, buy a Pioneer Elite Plasma. Sony picture is good but it doesn't compare to the Pioneer.

If money is no object or size
depending on what technologly you want then
new 42" panasonic 70 plasma / 42" pioneer both are PLASMA so great for watching fast moving images.
If you want a LCD then 32" then sony V series.
you you want bigger 40" V or W series Sony.
But if you give more infor then we all might be able to pinpoint it for you.
