My rca tv has a blue screen when I turn it on?

Do you have anything hooked up to it, like cable or Sat. tv?Try selecting some channels , ch 3 or ch4. Or if it's displaying Video 1 or Video 2 select your input until you get your tuner functions back.
Normally every tv will revert to tv cahannel after it was turn off. ( it will gives out noise if is not getting any channels) But blue screen now you are experiecing might be it is still in video mode or it went caput. Or might be eleborate what you really mean Blue Screen hopefully I can help. Cheers.
It could have a shorted tube, on the blue CRT/Gun.
