I just bought and hooked up to an outside antenna. I did autoscan to pick up HDTV stations but when I turn off the power and turn it back on the channels are lost. I have to repeat autoscan every time I turn TV off then on. What am I doing wrong?

Either 1, you need to complete the setup at first or 2 you have a problem with it.
If the set is new, chances are your not hitting the store button. If its over two years old, it may have a bac-up battery inside, only you wont be able to change this yourself, its not a big job to be replaced and should cos little to have done. If its a static storage chip, its going to need replacing and that's more expensive. So if the sets new, problems most likely your fault.
