I have a fate to trade one of my extra couches for this tv. I cant find any info on it. It is hd ready. It is a 2001 Im wondering if someone can bring up to date me anything about this tv and what the blind resolution is?? My leather sofa is worth about 600-700 and the guy is going to include his entertainment center. I know hes getting the better accord but by how much.

It will never be HD....
I just took a look at the TV set on Philips website and it HAS one Component Connector on the fund....but it's 480 Component and NOT 1080 HD Component input......
That means your DVD player will connect up to it, but your HD cable box would only just scramble it's picture.....
IT's LOW DEFINITION all the path....
Don't ever trust that it's HD if you see only one COMPONENT input jack on it.....if anything you should see the "HD ready" LOGO on the Front of the TV set if it's truly HD.....
Now....what's it worth ? ABOUT $200.00 if that much.....
Let him keep his TV.....
